Rumor: Microsoft launches viral site for Titanfall promotion

In the new UK Xbox One TV ad, a user has spotted a frame within the ad that seems to be in reference to some sort of Titanfall promotion. Decoding the frame, it leads you to http://gl16790101.com/ site – a promo site which asks you to accept a term and condition set.

Once you confirm the terms, a set of links appear on the screen. Here’s where the Titanfall reference comes in: one of the links is in association with Hammond, the name of the company within Titanfall that builds the titans. The other links take you to images that appear to be places in Titanfall or seem to depict areas of the game with names such as “Angel City.”

Microsoft and EA have not officially confirmed the reasons behind what these promotion is about yet.

New Titanfall Limited Edition Xbox One Controller announced
